Lesson 2: Become an author for the day!
Lesson Objectives:
Create, using Book creator a story book which encompasses sufficient descriptions of a setting.
Create the setting in a story to portray the mood of the story using descriptive language

Discuss how language is used to describe the settings in texts, and explore how the settings shape the events and influence the mood of the narrative (ACELT1599)
To start us off today:
1. Go grab your iPads
2. Answer the Word garden:

5. Time to create a book: using Book Creator students are to create a story. (You have approx. 30mins)
Guide lines:
- Includes 2-3 different settings.
- Settings must be described using adjectives and describing phrases.
- The settings of the stories should be topical to the mood you are trying to portray in their story.
Once your finished being an author:
6. Share your book with another pair. You can read eachothers and tell them what you think! Remember to be positive!
